A charming and historic destination in the heart of Tuscany, San Casciano in Val di Pesa is a medieval borgo perched on a hill, with panoramic views of the surrounding countryside and the famous Chianti wine region. In the historic centre you can explore its ancient walls, churches and castles, or visit the local museums and art galleries. The territory of San Casciano can also be divided into "excursion itineraries" and, in this respect, in every corner the view changes and sweeps over a new valley or another series of hills, revealing rural settlements with villas and castles, ancient farmhouses, parish churches or convents, churches and chapels, all surrounded by nature and an unmistakable landscape, gentle and austere, among vineyards, olive groves and cypresses. Its proximity to two of the most beautiful Tuscan cities, and especially to the city of Florence to which it is well connected both by the A1 motorway and by public buses, makes San Casciano a good starting point for excursions and visits to one of the most beautiful parts of the region: Chianti.
Open from the last Saturday in April until the first Saturday in October, the swimming pool, located on the lower terrace of the garden, is about 20 metres from the villa and is completely fenced for children safety. The rectangular pool, measuring 12 x 5 m with a constant depth of 1.40 m, is lined in light-coloured PVC and has chlorine purification, a steel ladder for access to the water and internal lighting activated via a twilight system, as in all the garden lighting. The terracotta-paved solarium area, surrounded by Mediterranean plants and olive trees, is equipped with sunbeds and a gazebo shaded by thick jasmine and furnished with table and chairs that create an intimate and relaxing space.
