About the property

Villa Allodola has two floors, with a total area of about 330 sqm. On the ground floor, the main entrance leads to the living room with fireplace (ornamental), connected to the open-plan brickwork kitchen with dining area. The kitchen is connected, via a French window, to a portico where the outdoor dining area is set up. Also on the ground floor is a hallway with access to the garden, a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom with shower, a guest bathroom and the laundry room. The staircase in the living room leads up to the first floor with the sleeping area, consisting of two double bedrooms, both with access to the terrace, a bathroom with tub and shower, a twin bedroom, a double bedroom, a bedroom with two joinable beds and a bathroom with shower. The floor is completed by a living room with TV and fireplace (ornamental), also accessible via an external staircase.

Villa Allodola is located 3 km from the village of Gabbro, where you can find a wide range of services, public transport, shops of all kinds and some restaurants. Gabbro is located in the territory of the Camaiano Cultural Park, an area of great historical, cultural, artistic and landscape interest. The park, established in 2016 by the Comitato Salvaguardia e Sviluppo di Territorio e Occupazione Onlus (CSSTO), was initially created to oppose the opening of a clay quarry in the hills; subsequently, the aim of the "Camaiano Cultural Park" project became that of enhancing the territory and the typical Tuscan landscape, so beautiful that Fernand Braudel defined it, from a landscape point of view, as "the most moving countryside that exists" and portrayed, in the 19th century, by a number of painters, in particular the Macchiaiolo painter, Silvestro Lega, whose commemorative bust is located in the small square of Gabbro. Fifteen minutes away is the coast and the cliffs of Chioma, Quercianella and Castiglioncello, with bars, restaurants and bathing establishments, for those who like to have all the comforts at their disposal, or free pebbly coves for those who prefer tranquillity and independence. Castiglioncello, a small but lively town in the province of Livorno overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea, is highly appreciated in Italy and abroad for the beauty of the landscape, characterised by red cliffs overlooking the sea, sheltered bays, beaches and coves bathed by clear waters, and a beautiful pine forest that has always inspired artists, painters, writers and poets, and now invites you to take relaxing walks. Also a short distance away is Vada, with its wide beaches of clear, fine sand, more than 5 km long, and its crystalline sea, repeatedly awarded the Blue Flag. On the coast, shaded by thick pine forests, characteristic bathing establishments alternate with wide stretches of free beach, where it is possible to rent umbrellas and sunbeds.

The pool area is located a few metres from the house and is easily reached up a few terracotta steps and along an attractive pathway, also paved in terracotta. Rectangular and measuring 12.5 x 6 m with a varying depth of 1.20 to 1.50 m. the pool is lined in PVC with a terracotta border and has salt purification, internal lighting (composed of 2 underwater spotlights that create an alluring atmosphere during summer evenings) and Roman steps for access to the water. A large solarium extends around the pool, partly paved in terracotta and partly in natural lawn, and is equipped with sunbeds and umbrellas. The solarium area is surrounded by lush vegetation, enriched by plants in pots that add a touch of colour and vitality, and flanked by the beautiful olive grove. The pool will be open from the last Saturday in April until the first Saturday in October.
